With the introduction of a 99p transaction charge at the cash machine in Hay, residents no longer have free access to their own money outside of Post Office open hours.
For too long our communities have been neglected, with a swathe of bank closures in recent years leaving Hay without a single bank in the town.
This means this cash machine is the only 24-hour banking service and now even that is no longer free to use.
You shouldn't be forced to pay simply to access your own money.
The UK Government need to step in and provide financial support so we can protect these vital services in rural communities like ours.
Support our campaign to scrap the fee and ensure that your money remains free.
