About Sarah-Jane:
Sarah-Jane is one of the two Welsh Liberal Democrat Councillors for Crickhowell with Cwmdu and Tretower alongside Cllr Matt Beecham.
Sarah-Jane currently works as a Teaching Assistant at a local primary school having previously worked for the NHS both as a community and hospital Occupational Therapist after graduating in Occupational Therapy from Cardiff University.
Sarah-Jane decided to run as a candidate after the decision by Powys County Council to close Llanbedr Church in Wales School. After living in the locality for nearly 20 years, Sarah-Jane is also keen to address local issues such as speeding and road safety along the A40 between Glangrwyney and Crickhowell. Housing for local people is also a key issue for Sarah-Jane after having experienced first-hand the difficulties of getting on the property ladder in the area where her family lives.
