One of the First Acts of the Conservative party since leaving the EU has been to give localised authorisation to sugar beet farmers in England to use a class of pesticides that are banned within the EU because of the damage they do to wild and honey bee populations.
We believe this is a dangerous precedent that should not be allowed to go ahead.
Our MP is a junior member of the DEFRA team that could prevent this threat to our environment.
I the undersigned call on Fay Jones MP to use her influence at DEFRA to protect our bee populations and continue the ban on pesticides containing neonicotinoid thiamethoxam
