Recycling in Powys

Powys County Council's changes to the days recycling centres are open are mistaken and counterproductive.

Llandegley will be open 4 days a week, with Brecon and Lower Cwmtwtch open just 3 days a week. There are also new restrictions on the vehicles that access and site, and changes to trade waste recycling permits.

Closing recycling centres will lead to other recycling points across Powys being overstretched, and may well lead to more fly tipping.

These limited days are not enough!

We call upon Powys County Council to increase the proposed opening days of recycling centres in Powys.
